Van, Well it just seems to me that while AMD is capable of selling every chip into the channel and tier 2/3 at good prices, Jerry's ego is better suited by selling into Teir 1's at next to nothing. Now I see Albert and Co. talking about name recognition, but even without name recognition AMD is selling everything they can make. When they run into a situation where their are surplus chip then I can see making a deal, but not now. Look how AMD suffered as a result this quarter. Let's say IBM got 100,000 chips at $35 below the ASP.. $3.5M that could have gone to the bottom line, but instead is feeding Jerry's ego... Steve Cyrix Rules!
