china bank loans ... yes, about 4 years ago, and i can still hunt up the links where i made reasned and sensible points about why the suppoosed weakness did not matter, to te likes of cb ilaine and her ilk to no particular avail, out of the kindness of my altruistic heart, because their minds were made up, closed, shut down, and mothballed

in any case, the banks are not yet sound, but much sounder than before, is still not in dire strait, not any more and probably far less so than BoA, Citi, JPM, etc

reason? the state-owned, having also participated in systemic though imperfect reform, have become debtors of more merit ... profitable, and growing, though privatizing, by and by

as i keep emphasizing, the trend is not just important, it is everything.
