I am lobbying for a local kid on our local high school team who I believe has the talent to play Div I.

I know this. He is a 10th grader, starts varsity, is 6' 4', weighs 280, go's both sides of the ball, has quick feet, good instincts, his dad played for University of Richmond the last time they played VT AND beat them. I know because I was at that game in 1983 and saw UR come from behind in the second half to beat VT. It was played in Richmond.

I think this kid has the potential to be All American. I taught him in my Sunday school class for 4 years. An all round good kid.

I am starting to get feelers out to the tech coaches to get him on the radar screen. I hope I can be successful in doing so.

I once talked to coach Hite the running back coach about Ahmad Bradshaw from
Graham High. I was told he ran too upright for college football. He now plays for the Giants mostly as a kick returner, but is averaging 27.6 yds per return.
