I was more impressed by the number of musicians who died of gunshots and murder. And many by drowning too. I suspect those were drug or alcohol related.

I can't believe that video left out Ricky Nelson, who also died in a plane crash, and The Big Bopper, who died with Buddy Holly.

A young composer of my daughter's acquaintance met an early death as well. He died of electrocution in his own sound system in his apartment. He wrote the score for "A Texas Funeral." imdb.com I thought he did an outstanding job, as the score enhanced the emotions of every scene without intruding. You were hardly aware of the music as you watched the movie. It starred Martin Sheen.

I took note but no pity whatsoever in all of the musicians who died of drug abuse. I wonder what they expected? I'm sure the video overlooked many, although they are so forgettable I can't name them.
