You're right about Eisenhower's plane. Here's some interesting stuff on Air Force One: en.wikipedia.org Ike loved Colorado. I remember seeing his entourage near the tiny town of Fraser, where he often river fished. He eventually had a heart attack while visiting Colorado and spent considerable time recovering in Fitsimmons Army Hospital in a Denver suburb in the mid '50s.
