I remember reading about The Columbine from "The Weekly Reader," which was a little newspaper I got in class at the fourth grade. Funny how little details like that stick with you when you can't even find your glasses.

My Dad had a friend, Col. Roberts, who flew Air Force One. For Nixon, I think. His nickname was "Shorty" Roberts. I've met him a few times.

Thanks for the article on Air Force One. Do you recall the Harrison Ford movie of the same name? It was floated when Clinton was president, who said he liked it.

I just can't visualize Clinton saying to the bad guy "Get the Hell off my plane!" and shoving him out the door, but I can sure see President Bush doing that. It's one reason I like Bush.
