I've had wild boar before while I was on Okinawa, it was pretty gamey. The game keeper for the hotel, who was also a little wiry Japanese guy, speared it the morning before. I'll tell you it takes balls to go hunting inside that jungle..... I never ventured into it, but I've seen some of the things that come out of it......
