Out west we have a love hate relationship with Ontario and Quebec.
I kinda get the impression you guys hate Ottawa more than the Quebecois. Correcto?
That's OK. We hate DC more than OBL. DC has done more damage.

Also seems like the have not provinces want a piece of our pie, we are rich with oil and the tar sands:
I need a translation of that into English. :-)

Make a deal: We'll trade you NY state and everything north of it for the southern half of Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
But you have to take Hillary as part of the package. :-)

Snip:
en.wikipedia.org

Canada is the largest supplier of oil to the U.S. [1], with over a million barrels per day coming from tar sands.

YOU'RE the largest supplier??? FAR OUT!
I'd much rather make Canadians rich than Saudis any day!

Most of the tar sands of Canada are located in three major deposits in northern Alberta. The three deposits are the Athabasca-Wabiskaw oil sands of north northeastern Alberta, the Cold Lake deposits of east northeastern Alberta, and the Peace River deposits of northwestern Alberta. Between them they cover over 140,000 square kilometers (54,000 square miles), an area larger than Florida, and hold at least 175 billion barrels (175×109 bbl) or 28 billion cubic metres (28×109 m³) of recoverable crude bitumen, which amounts to three-quarters of North American petroleum reserves.

Watch the video its a hoot.

WHAT video????

And yes, we have LOTS of fresh water here.
You have lots of ICE there. You'e going to need HEAT. :-)

I would not move for all the tea in China.
You can have the tea; I'll take coffee. :-)
