Now that President Bush and Gen. David H. Petraeus have charted their course for the Iraq war, Democrats in the Senate say one of their proposals aimed at shifting the president’s strategy is finally close to winning enough Republican support for a real chance at being approved. It would require that troops spend as much time at home as on their most recent tours overseas before being redeployed. People should be screaming.....Bush is wedding the US to Iraq for the next 20 years. I am dumbfounded.....Americans are like lemmings. Bush is destroying the US and they say nothing. If he gets away with committing the US to Iraq for the next 20 years......and it looks like he will.........it will bring this country down. I have never in my life thought I would witness such stupity.
