I honestly still think Bush has a good heart and tries to do what is right.

Don't you see....that's how he got you hooked in the first place. Its all an act. If Satan were to come to earth, do you think he would come as the devil or masquerading as an angel? The answer is obvious at least to me. Bush and his cronies were bad people.......I knew that intuitively when they were running for office. That's why my stomach took a bad fall after CBS reversed FLA and said the state was too close to call. Bush cares about Bush first and the US much farther down the road. That's why when New Orleans was 'burning', he was in San Diego playing the banjo. It never dawned on him to care about New Orleans. The folksy bit is all an act......and it fooled way too many people. Worse.....everyone is afraid of him and his cronies. If Bush looked like Saddam or the devil, we would have gotten rid of him long ago.

If you believe that this life is about learning lessons, and I believe it is, then in 2000 the American people were given a very big lesson. We had taken our democracy and our good fortune for granted for way too long. For a long time, things/events had been working to undermine what we had. Election 2000 was a culmination of that effort. When Bush challenged Gore and it went to the USSC, Americans should have been screaming and on their feet. They were not.......Americans chose to see it as a partisan affair when, in fact, it was a test of the American democracy and Americans' commitment to that democracy. All along the way we have been tested....had opportunities to stop the Bush juggernaut and have failed. And that's because those of us who really care don't have the power of our convictions, or we would have stopped him. He should have been impeached. He should have been charged with war crimes. If we couldn't make those charges stick here in the US, then we need to make them in Brussels at the World Court. He needs to be stopped asap. The very survival of this country is dependent upon it. That's how desperate things are. We may well go down the road of the old Soviet Union in Afghanistan. People will laugh but we are closer to that road than ever before. And Bush,'the good man', is making possible.

He is the enemy.....know him for what he is!
