There were more than ample attacks on the US homeland, during the Clinton Adm, which should've prompted Pres Clinton to take OBL into custody when offered the chance by Sudan. Keep in mind foreign embassies are in fact considered part of their homeland, as well as military ships:

Terrorist attacks during Clinton Adm on the US homeland:

January 1993, a Palestinian shoots two CIA employees, wounding three others near CIA headquarters, Langley, VA.

In February 1993, six were killed by Islamic terrorists when they planted explosives in the World trade Center, NY.

In that same month, Ramzi Yousef was judged as organizing the 1993 World Trade Center bombing in NY, as well as the 1994 explosion on Philippine Airlines Flight 434.

In 1996, an Islamic teacher fired at tourists at the Empire State Bldg, NY. A Danish national was killed, visitors were wounded.

In August 1998, bombs destroy the US EMBASSIES in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Blasts slew 247 in Nairobi and 10 in Dar es Salaam, more then 5000 wounded.

In 2000, al Qaeda bombed the USS Cole during refueling in Aden, Yemen. 17 sailors were slain, 30 wounded. Afterwards, Osama bin Laden stated the ship sailed "to its doom. . .(along a course of ) false arrogance, self-conceit, and strength."

Again in 2000, a fundamentalist Muslim terrorist on his way to bomb Los Angeles Airport is arrested at US / Canadian border. He has over 100 pounds of explosives in his vehicle. Algerian Ahmed Ressam informs authorities that he was schooled in a camp in Afghanistan, the latter overseen by bin Laden.

Answer the QUESTION: With the overwhelming evidence above, plus all the other attacks worldwide on Americans by al Qaeda, why did the President not take OBL into custody when Sudan offered him to the Clinton Administration? As a result of Clinton's failure to do so, over 3000 Americans died on Sept 11, 2001 and a war on terror ensued. The latter could've been avoided if Pres Clinton had placed the security of American lives ahead of the opinion of the international community. You can listen to a voice recording of Bill Clinton post 9/11, admitting that he didn't capture OBL because he was concerned the evidence might not be considered strong enough for the UN.

Those who plan to vote for another Clinton for POTUS invite another catastrophic terrorist attack in a US city. Democrats are dangerously national security challenged. Do we really need to relive another devastating attack at home, before all Americans awake to that reality? Answer the above question re the Sudan.
