I imagine they had a heck of a halftime show. (I was watching baseball during halftime). I have seen some of these black high school bands play and it is an awesome and beautiful sight. Those kids just put their heart and souls into their every note and movement. Many of them are kids with mothers working 80 hours a week changing bedpans in nursing homes and living in houses with drug pushers on the corner. I think that is gradually being cleaned up. Tough way to grow up and I really admire those kids that make it. I know that Texas marching bands can put on an impressive spectacle.
