I had to go to a ships doctor on my Alaska cruise, as it ended up, I had pneumonia and couldn't breathe. He was very competent, but certainly not cheap. It costs over $100 for the visit. I can't remember how much, but it was expensive.

The doctor was Russian and was on the internet when I went to see him. He was madder than a wet hen at the Russians, because they wouldn't let the Americans help the Russian sub that they couldn't raise.
