no you dont have a war, you have containment. You dont get it do you? Iran will fill any vacuum it sees in the mideast. Thats as much a persian thing as it is islamic. The iranian advances can be checked peacefully by sunni states, the west, israel and peace in palestine. Thats a good thing, not a bad thing. In order to contain, you must have a viable deterrent. What israel did in syria the other day, the arab states reaction, the tough french words all are designed to make containment and deterrence work so there will be no war.. You and Leon and the expatriate chumpsky left live only to blame america, israel and the west.
