I'm planning on getting a Macbook or Macbook Pro (haven't decided which) and the largest monitor available and all peripherals for starters, thats for me and then probably another one or 2 MBs for family members- those can be more low end, I want the high end.

Any comments on what is the better high end Macbook the pro or the black one? the Pro is beautiful but might be too large for me, the MB is a nicer smaller package.

I know apple monitors are overpriced - can anybody recommend a better monitor vendor.... because the high end monitors are also expensive at Dell and then you get their crappy service, not worth it to me for a few hundred but if its 1/3 less I might consider it.
