My point CH is that peace folks wanted contain-deter in lieu of war with USSR and China back in the day. But of course if C-D breakdown you have to be prepared to fight. If you are not, you are exposed for what you are, and thats appeasers. Draw a line---on left is war---in center is C-D and on the right is appeasement. I dont see any other possiblities when facing a potential foe. Again what would you do? Noel/Chumpsky say bend over..What does hinton say?
