Micheal ,if you think only bombing iran will change for the better the middle east fine...i do not and it has nothing to do with appeasement...but rather common sense.

i would feel better if we had an army ready to occupy and hold the whole southern boarder of iran creating a no infiltration zone inside iran .and that the iranian coast be secured against launch sites for land to sea missiles which would ensure a stedy flow of oil.

that and a bombing campaign would work....not your lame bombing only campaign.

LETS DO THIS RIGHT IF WE ARE GOING TO DO IT AT ALL.

anything less is half ass.
