Listen to Gen. Petraeus on Charlie Rose...he says that Qods forces have been captured in Iran, including the head of the operation that captured 5 Americans in Karbala in January. When they got the guy, they got his computer too, and found a 22 page training document that references the model of the building that was raided that had been built in Iran. Petraeus stressed that this was evidence in hand, not just intelligence. Petraues also noted that Crocker and State had been trying to conduct diplomacy with all the neighbors. While Syria might possibly yield somehwat, he noted that Iran has been totally unhelpful.

Of course this won't stop the dopes on this thread who KNOW that Iran has every right to attack in Iraq, Lebanon, anywhere it pleases but the US has no right to respond anywhere, and that if diplomacy doesn't work it's always Bush's fault. I would show them Petraeus' evidence but since they also know that the US military is always lying there doesn't seem to be a point.
