I have begun going to Al Anon . Had my third meeting today. If any group has made me feel my impotence again in trying to control my own life it is this one. Here I was a therapist who did years of my own therapy...and as life teaches... it is an ongoing struggle for everyone of us to stay constant and learn that even though one might believe she or he has all the answers.. (not that I did, but most ) life comes back to kick one in the butt. Learning is constant.
