Not while Israel exists, mike. Sheesh, just look at the history. Israel withdrew to the Blue Line in 2000, certified by the UN and everything. Did it reduce Hizbullah? Not a bit of it, now Hizbullah had a grand victory to claim (and they've made the most of it too) and they simply shifted the casus belli to the occupation of Shabaa Farms, which until that moment all parties had agreed lay in Syria.

To reduce the extremists you have to do something that actually strengthens the moderates and discredits the extremists. Appeasing the extremists does just the opposite.
