I actually wish the locked iPhone will fly free and unlocked all over the world.
It was recently decided that it is not a crime to unlock them in FInland, it would actually be exatly in and within the spirit of our old consumer law, as well as the founding idea of the GSM standard.
However, that still leaves the problem of exporting the unlocked ones, or actually to legally import and sell the unlocked ones to the target markets.

Btw, Nokia said something about "brutal design", they did not say unlocked design.
