Bottom line is domestically Clinton did some very good things. Foreign policy he made some attempts, but bottom line he did no harm... and probably raised our standing overseas. Compare that record to Bush... re: This is true, but it also underscores my belief that the federal government is the most effective when it doesn't try to do too much. Welfare reform? Balanced budget? I will agree with the sentiment of foreign policy... less is more.
