what! are you kidding? if you're a white male looking to get a scholarship to attend college...forget it. we white folks be the oppressed ones...and it's been that way for 3 decades at least. and smart kids are oppressed...god forbid they get an even break. It's so disgusting! If we did as much for gifted children as we do for the unfortunate mentally challenged, this country would be WAY better off. sorry, I may be liberal, but even way back when, I would have disagreed with your statement; and by way back when - I mean 1977.
