Craig, It is very reminiscent of the "free" online casinos. They make money from advertising, and, in some cases, in selling your email address to retailers. Generally, they have the money to pay out, at least, at first. Slightly different, but similar in structure, is "IWon.com," which I still use. You can win daily, weekend, monthly and annual prizes and IWon has the money and they do pay out. However, they have pulled in their horns since the first year. Some college student in San Jose won $10 million several years ago, but now, $1 million is the top prize. I know it's legit because my nephew had classes with the winner at San Jose State.

The downside is that your email will get full of spam. I am sure one of these sites sold my name to all the porno sellers. Why else would so many porno ads show up in my Email? It takes my dominatrix forever to clear them out. <G>
