i had the verizon powered Treo running windows mobile for nearly 2 years and while the speeds are nearly 1mbs, you can't get the full web as in the iPhone. surely the T speeds are pathetic at <200 kbs but with wi-fi, that is no longer a problem. yes, you cannot load up multiple web pages loaded with refreshes and currently flash does not work. still, the iphone is as good as it gets Fall 2007 at this form factor. surfing on a macbook or 15/17" macbook pro is far more satisfying that on an iphone, but you can't use your notebook, however small it maybe, on a crowd bus, train, or your sister's wedding. paul
