Al, > Fiscal responsibility....he didn't run a fantasy government that wins hearts and minds of selfish Americans by selling the notion that you can run a government in a perennial state of deficit...even if that meant unpopular choices like raising taxes. As usual, the liberal definition of "fiscal responsibility" is "raising taxes." No need to tell me that deficits are worse. Revenues come and go with economic cycles, but the bottom line is how much the federal government spends year after year. Tenchusatsu
