I know you're kidding here, but those who might get paranoid about having a GPS chip in their cellphones should realize that anyone who is running around with any cellphone can be located right now using triangulation from within the carrier's network.

And actually, since GPS is "receive only", it doesn't make a difference. Won't help anybody track you.

So tell your mistress to relax. ;-)

Now, if your wife works for the cellphone company that provides your service, that's another matter.
