This is where you can make a lot of money if you can time it right -- first the rates go down and stocks go up in all the euphoria, and then when the dollar heads south, the Treasury finds that they can't refinance the US debt at the rates they're offering -- voila, long rates turn around and spike up as the Treasury has to keep paying higher and higher rates to roll it over -- if the Fed keeps trying to hold down the short end, the yield curve is going to end up looking like the Matterhorn in profile

Why does the market not see this, if even dumb old Stan can? Actually, a lot of people probably do, but it isn't those people setting the prices here, it's still all those black box programs that 'can't make mistakes'

I am so glad to not be standing out there on the freeway wondering from which direction the next out-of-control Greyhound bus is coming
