The only reasons the Democrats will get in is that the Republcians have handed them every issue! Including fiscal integrity and spending management. What are the republicans going to run on in that area? Their great job of managing spending between 2000-2006? Nothing to run on! They make Clinton look like a conservative.. The republicans have no ideas on fiscal restraint. None. Whatever happened to reforming Social Security? Medicare? Farm Subsidies? Foreign Aid? Highway spending? They did nothing when they had control of everything. So they will lose everything.
