I had forgotten that Japan and Korea aren't GSM Not in 2G but available in 3G (W-CDMA). EDGE is out of the question, I believe. These countries will likely get the iPhone after there is a 3G version, which means mid to late 2008. In Asia the iPhone will probably launch first in Australia, followed by China/Hong Kong and then the smaller markets like Singapore and Malaysia. We'll see. -we-
