I've now watched two of the videos.

Meyer was being deliberately provocative.
He had numerous chances to comply with the officers'
directions and to avoid any further problems.

When he began to actively resist, I don't think the cops were
obligated to try and subdue him at the risk of their own injury.

It will be interesting to see what their protocols are for use of Tasers and whether there was compliance.

Personally, I think Meyer asked for it. He was playing to the cameras.

Just another tiresome Andy Warhol moment.
