The market is probably as big as the Server Market, although not all servers will use these.

Intel will make "decent" profits in each chip - but that is not the point.

The IMPROVED performance of servers for I/O processing wil help sell Intel's Server chips - the Pentium Pro and Deschutes (maybe a few Pentium II). This is where the bIG payoff comes from.

This market is strong and growing at a phenomenal rate - I'd say 650,000 to 1,000,000 at present - for x86 based servers.
