Please dont tell me that you dont recognize the sunni/shiaa and arab/persian issues as being real. Israel is no threat to arab states that dont attack them or harbor terrorists or provided transit to military supplies to terrorists. Israels actions against lebanon and syria were very specific in this regard. The sunni arab states, not compromised by the iranians are not threatened by israel and damn worried about persian/shiaa inroads in their region. That accounts for benign neglect re israel attack in syria. It also provides an opening for mideast peace between I&P. You more than anyone else is always screaming that without this issue bin laden would go away. So what if it does get solved now. Dont you see that as good. It drives away bin ladens #1 reason to get converts and brands iranian rejectionism as reactionary in the arab world. Anything that weakens the ayotollas and checks persian imperialisim in the region while hurting bin laden at the same time is a good thing. dont you agree?
