finally, a slow point in time for reflection.

Yesterday, my index closed at 1117.463 or +19.96% ytd vs +8.51% for the SPX

1117.46 is the highest for 2007 so far and higher than the 7/13/2007 figure of 1111.764. Again, we fell to 949.665 on 8/16/2007 due to sub-prime concerns. This rally of 17.7% seems excessive for this part of the year.

at 1117.46, i am still 0.68% below the ath of 1124.9597 reached all the way back in 3/23/2000. that's not that long ago if you ask any Japanese stock investor.
