It is true that his conduct, so far, does not compare to the worst examples of heinous criminality committed by a few Muslims (head lopping of innocents), nor does it compare with the greatest examples of heinous criminality in his own culture.

I would say that the slaughter in Darfur is more than a few Muslims. The daily murders in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and other places are the acts of more than a few Muslims. At minimum we are looking at thousands of Muslims killing in a dozen countries supported by tens of thousands and perhaps hundreds of thousands of Muslims who donate to their cause and support them morally, politically and financially. Thus far I have seen nothing from the "Other Members" of Islam that tells me there is any will to end these attacks. only when those "other Members" feel that their lives, livelihoods and safety are being threatened are they liable to make their concerns known and try to end the conflict. We will be at war globally before that happens.
