You have a good point and it was not my intention to exaggerate to the other extreme. There are some regions of the world where terrorism is out of control. That's, of course why we have nobly declared war on terror, even suffering the approbrium of allies and kin in the process.

Islam is world wide now; where as, terrorist culture remains rooted in geopolitical and regional cultures. Those same tribal cultures used other dogma to commit heinous acts before there was a Quran.

"Thus far I have seen nothing from the "Other Members" of Islam that tells me there is any will to end these attacks. only when those "other Members" feel that their lives, livelihoods and safety are being threatened are they liable to make their concerns known and try to end the conflict. We will be at war globally before that happens.

I don't think that is a fair and balanced argument. There are approximately 20k members of Islam in the US armed forces. There are members with us and against us from all global sectors. We are involved largely because it is strategically beneficial to our livelihood and safety. There is also a good case to be made on principle. But if it were just a matter of one tribe on the other side of the globe annihilating another, I doubt we would be motivated to go there.
