Portfolios have returned to Silicon Investor.

How to set up a new public portfolio i.e. one others can see:
(I hope - this needs some testing, especially the link at bottom!)
(Cookies must be enabled in your browser for this to work)

Click on Portfolio tab at top of the main page, between Watchlist and Quote.

Click on New Portfolio button.
(Optional) Start with $100,000 cash. Confirm.

At the Summary page click on the portfolio name
Then use "Add Buy" button to purchase stocks.

Quirks?:
(Historical prices are missing before Feb 2007?)
(Purchase dates and times seem to be "off by one"?)

Save and confirm.

Click the "Configuration" button, two over from "Add Buy"
In the General section, CHECK PUBLIC PORTFOLIO
or others will not be able to see your portfolio.

Save.

Make note of the name and URL for the Summary page of your public portfolio.

A test public portfolio is at:
si.advfn.com

If all is working correctly you should see a portfolio
named Test consisting of the AMEX Biotech index, BTK.
