Since 9/11 choosing a President has became a crucial task. We no longer have the luxury of merely complaining for 4 yrs if we don't get it right...in today's world the wrong choice could literally be fatal to many Americans. Presidential elections require a citizen to observe and conclude which party has the best overall strategy to cope with national problems.

After closely monitoring the past few administrations, I've come to the conclusion the Republicans are definitely not perfect, many warts; however, in the final analysis when compared with Democrats pablum solutions to major problems & national defense deficit, the Repubs perform the difficult task of national security & economic balancing act far better than the Dems. The liberals nanny state aspirations are downright frightening. Hillary already warned Americans that "we might have to take a few things away for the greater good." That's an ominous remark from big sister.

The majority of Americans are bored with politics, that's why liberals can bamboozle them out of their precious vote every 4 yrs. If most Americans took the time to connect the political dots, they would never again take a chance on the Dems due to the fact the party has taken a sharp left turn and currently panders to wacky fringe groups. Hopefully they'll continue on that foolish course right up until they're left in the polling booth dust in Nov '08.

Naturally we all wish the two party system would work in the future as it has in the past for the good of all citizens. Right now the Dems need a complete overhaul in order to once again reach the high standard they set for themselves prior to the Carter adm...it's been downhill for them ever since then.

>>you seem to see the Country totally in terms of Left OR Right.

I don't see it that way and I don't think at least 60% of my fellow Americans do either.<<
