Roger, DATEK finally caught me with one of these odd lot executions. I tried to sell 2500 NMPS yesterday at 6 3/4 and they sold 35 shares at that price leaving me with 2465. This morning I tried to sell them all (the whole 2465) at the BID which was 6 5/8. The MM took 2400 of them and then left me with 65 orphans. My 65 shares remain for sale on Island at 6 5/8 but the ASK has moved to 6 3/4 and the BID is still 6 5/8. I assume because these are now considered an odd lot then they do not show up on NASDAQ. The problem I have is how do I get rid of them. If I cancel and offer them at a lower price I cost myself an extra commission and what stops them being sold one at a time for a full commision each time. I do not mind order being broken up but not into odd lot numbers which are impossible to trade...

PS.. I emailed broker@datek.com about this. I will bet you and everyone from datek who reads this post that I will NEVER get a reply to my email...
