this is a case of nationalism.....both arab and persian.
until they feel free of the foreign yoke the will be little peace.

What a dipshit answer. Has Iran been a colony of the US anytime lately, that they should feel 'under the foreign yoke'? Or are their feelings worthy of respect despite any facts on the ground, despite the fact that they have trained up Hizbullah to take over Lebanon and destroy Israel, that their "feelings" are driving them to kidnap and kill all opposition inside and outside Iran, make nuclear weapons, take over the Straights of Hormuz?

But they feel so gosh darned oppressed by the foreign yoke, dammit, you just have to give them the entire Persian Gulf.

Sorry, Saudi Arabia doesn't agree, nor the other Arab States, except for Syria, which Bashar the Stupid has turned into a province of Iran.
