NetScout to Buy Network General biz.yahoo.com Thursday September 20, 7:47 am ET WESTFORD, Mass. (AP) -- Network management systems maker NetScout Systems Inc. said Thursday it agreed to buy Network General Corp. for $205 million in cash, stock and assumed debt. San Jose, Calif.-based Network General makes application and network management hardware and software. NetScout expects the deal to double its current revenue rate by fiscal 2009, driven by a broader product portfolio.
