I didn't mean to insult the Prius, but it is not a BMW, which you already know from personal experience.

Lexus has put out a flagship hybrid (600h), but this is out of reach for 99.99% of consumers. I am looking forward to the development of hybrid or electric vehicles that are a bit more luxury oriented, as I'm fairly convinced that this would not effect the ultimate reliability of the technology. I would purchase a Prius-like for a daily "run around" vehicle, but cannot use it for my business purposes.

I was also aware of the amount of energy needed to create the hydrogen for fuel, but was encouraged that there are major players in the automotive industry that think there might be merit in developing the means to exploit the source.

IU would only be interested if the development of the fuel will be truly green.....one can hope!!

Regards, WIJ
