Yesterday the thread was worried about deflation and expected the big one from 'over-capacity or deflation' today it is 'inflation'. The little I know about economics 'inflation' and 'deflation' are at opposite spectrum- one needs tightening monetary policy other requires cutting of interest rates- now if we are expecting the big one for the heck of it, lets atleast agree from where it is going to come from inflation or deflation or even a natural disaster?

Until we are not even sure of the cause we will not be able to diagnose and prescribe the cure?

In last 24 hrs I have discussed on this thread the fears of commodity pressures from rising population- Japan selling its TB holdings- Nimitz role in ME and crisis of dealers- Inflation- Deflation and now AG out of context remarks if are unable to bring this market down- we need to see if this market is really fanned by some fundamental changes within the economy?
