Thomas, COHR is a local (Silicon Valley) company and I have followed it since 1990. It is another good company I can kick myself for not buying at significantly lower prices. RE: "I know Coherent has positioned itself to become a player in the semiconductor field..." Please elaborate on COHR's participation in the "semiconductor" field. RE: "...Cymer. Are they a major player or the latest hot company with a patent or two?" They are definitely a HOT company. They currently own the excimer laser for DUV lithography market and this market is taking off. They do not have the breadth of laser expertise and market diversity that COHR has. Cary
