SGA Goldstar Publisher Sentenced in SEXI Scandal - Theodore R. Melcher, Jr., publisher of SGA Goldstar, a daily stock newsletter distributed over the Internet, was sentenced to a year in the 'crowbar motel' plus $20,000 in fines for fooling his subscribers into buying shares of Systems of Excellence, Inc. which went by the eye-cathing ticker symbol: SEXI. Apparently Melcher fraudulently profited over $500,000 in an elaborate "pump and dump" scheme by touting SEXI to SGA Goldstar subscribers without disclosing his own compensation in SEXI stock for making the recommendation.
