Let the elephants (the World CBs) and 800-lb. gorillas (carry trade) sort this mess out. I see the elephants are getting the upper hand in the battle, stomping the gorillas. Kill 'em -g- They are battling depression by inflating everything. It appears that if you are right about change, the dollar must go up. It has a nice inverse correlation with stocks, almost perfect, since 2005. Maybe the correlation will break down at some point, about right now. -g- Next week we have big tempo expiration for ECB on September 26 and 27 (205 Billion Euros temporary liquidity will be gone), plus the 45-day withdrawal notices to hedge funds from August, 15 must get paid. So, I suspect some pullback should be in order. Then we just see how far she falls, maybe 1 or 2 percent, maybe more -g-
