Judging from what he says, and what the Government of Iran says in its official pronouncements, he might decide it's time to ignite the confrontation between Iran and the West that will herald the return of the Mahdi."

Can you give an example of what he could say in an open discussion at Columbia that might accomplish this task in a better way than he could militarily or diplomatically. I can't imagine it.
