Plus how many are underinsured and how many are denied treatment even while being insured? Health care in the USA is nothing but a racket. It is inefficient, ineffective and has a poor ROI. You'd think rightwing capitalists would want more competition not less. Have a national healthcare program to scare the bejesus out of private insurers and providers. That would be capitalism at work but, of course, the cowards on the right really do not want competition, they only want their inept, incompetent monopolies. We are so far behind the rest of the industrialized world it is pathetic.
