TJ, you have obviously got a distorted idea about freedom from being contaminated in China: < i must know what true idiots are thinking, so as to better liberating them of their moolah>

What is needed is to liberate the moolah from them, rather than the reverse. Think of the moolah as a wondrous Virtuous Value being help captive by people who will be wastrel spendthrifts blowing in on white elephants, silly projects, self-indulgent foolishness and other financial entropy efforts.

Your mission, should you wish to accept it, is to free moolah from cruel torturous kidnappers who would ruin said moolahs opportunity to be used for great things.

Maybe you were just a bit careless and I can see that your comment is a somewhat ambiguous and maybe you mean saving the moolah from a fate worse than death.

Similarly with Taiwan - you have a strange idea that freedom is being turned into a state chattel, a mere serf. If Taiwanese want that "freedom", you can be sure that they will volunteer for it in the same way that people queued at Dachau, attracted by the sign "Arbeit Macht Frei". Here are some people crowding to get in [or maybe they are a welcoming committee on the inside]. annefrankguide.net

China's 50th celebrations were fascinating. It reminded me so strongly of a Nuremberg rally. Lots of flags, glorious martial music, shouts of "Sieg" by Jiang Zemin, with the crowd responding "Heil"; or whatever that translates to in Mandarin.
