"I mean, do you have crappola for brains"
No. But you clearly do.

You, Shorty, Harris et al are all doing what they want. Brainless, mindless fear.
Like FDR said, So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.

And there was real reason for fear then. Or during the Cold War when there was the real risk of nuclear weapons wiping out our cities like so many malignant mushrooms.
Now? Not nearly as much. As the Germans have shown, good police work can go a long way. There isn't any reason to give up our rights and become a police state. Who wins then? Not us, that is for sure.
So let's take this incident. Now what kind of terrorist is going to have a bomb with flashing lights on it, much less hanging on the outside in plain view? And then, walk up to an information desk, ask a question, and then go outside?
Bombs don't require flashing lights. They don't even require the countdown timers that are so beloved on TV and in movies. Or the LEDs that go from green to red when the right wire is cut. They, however, do require explosives. Which isn't brightly colored although may be a clay-like substance.
"play-dough dangling and what looks like a trigger mechanism"
Are you making this up? What "trigger mechanism"? I am dubious about the Play-Doh because that has been mentioned but never shown. They've shown the hoodie, but not that. And this is the first mention I've seen of a "trigger mechanism".
It is starting to sound like stories are being crafted to make the fake bomb story more plausible.
Frankly, it appalls me that Americans are so willing to give up their democracy over this issue.
I thought we were better than that. I guess not. |
